Amber Fort : Built in red sandstone and white marble, Amber Fort is situated atop a hill at the distance of 11 km from the Jaipur city. Hawa Mahal : It was built in 1799, by Maharaja Swai Partap Singh. The 5-stored stunning semi octagonal monument having 365 windows with over hanging latticed balconies is a fine piece of rajputs architecture designed for the royal ladies to catch the cool breeze on a hot day, and enjoy the processions and other activities,on the street below .
